What is our wax made of?
We use a firmer blend of paraffin and soy (parasoy!) in our shapes, snap bars, and clamshells. We use a softer parasoy blend for souffles, tubs, and loaves 💜


How long should I let my wax cure?
We are super generous with our cure time suggestions—but we like super strong scent! Technically, our wax only needs around 2 weeks to cure BUT we recommend at least 3 weeks or longer. Wax melts just get stronger the longer they sit! So if you can wait a few weeks (we understand you’re ready to get meltin’), let it sit and then enjoy!

 

How much should I put in my warmer?

One bundt is the perfect amount to place in your warmer! If you do wish to warm a smaller amount, inserting a toothpick into the center of the shape will break it easily.

 

Which warmers work best with your wax?

Scentsy warmers are beautiful (I have many!) but, unfortunately, they don’t always get hot enough for best performance with vendor wax. The element warmers do tend to work better. Try a 20 watt or higher hot plate style warmers or a tea light warmer for best performance (stronger scent throw!). Also, remember that "Location, Location, Location" of your warmers is important! 

 

How much does it cost to ship?

We are going to try out a new tiered shipping model for the July preorder. Below is what your shipping cost will be depending on your order total:

$0-20.00 - $8 flat rate
$20.01-99.99 - $10 flat rate
$100 - 199.99 - $12.50 flat rate
$200 - 299.99 - $14.50 flat rate
$300-399.99 - $18.50 flat rate
$400-599.99 - $25 flat rate                                                                                                                                      $600 and up - $35 flat rate                                

EXAMPLE: So if you spend $102, you would fall in the $12 flat rate category and that’s the shipping rate that would be applied to your order. (Your total would be $114 with shipping—Alabama folks will pay AL tax as well)

We do not have combine codes--we will automatically combine your order by finding matching email and physical addresses.

International shipping: We are currently shipping to Canada only. There is a flat shipping rate of $20 and buyer will be invoiced separately for any additional cost over the flat rate at the time of shipping. Separate invoices will be sent via PayPal. The customer is responsible for paying any and all customs charges.

 

Can I change my shipping address after I place an order? 

Unfortunately, we can no longer change shipping addresses after you place an order on our website. Our system isn't great about saving address changes and we've had packages end up in the wrong locations. 

 

Do you offer insurance on my package?

YES! We purchase insurance on each package--this protects against missing, stolen, or damaged packages (if the damage harms the product). This does not protect against melted wax. During hotter months, we try to only ship on Mondays so your package hopefully gets to you as quickly as possible. To be honest, we've only had 1 or 2 instances of heat damaged wax--and we've sent hundreds of packages during summer months over the past few years 💜

 

Do you offer refunds?

No, we do not offer refunds based on the nature of our products. However, if there is an issue with your order, please reach out within 5 business days of receiving your order and we will make every effort to work with you. 

We DO NOT make changes to orders after they are placed.

Sampler Creation Guidelines

We love having our community members get involved and help us create blends for new samplers for upcoming preorders! Your ideas are the BEST ideas! 💜 We can't create every sampler that is brought to our attention, but feel free to make a suggestion in the Facebook group and we will make a note and reach out if we're able to work it into our preorder schedule!

If you're creating a sampler with us, here are some guidelines to follow:

*Up to 8 blends depending on the format (clams, snap bars, soft wax cups, etc.) L&S will choose the format based on what else we are offering in that particular preorder. 💜

*4 oils max per blend. Remember that less is most definitely be more in a blend 💜

*I will send one sampler for you to make suggestions. I will make the suggested adjustments before we offer the sampler for sale. I won't be able to remake and resend test sampler blends. I promise I'll make sure it smells amazing before we release the sampler! 💜

*Please choose at least 2-3 blends from our Master Scent List (we have plenty of scents that have never been used that we would love to put out there!) You can also use master blends as a base. 💜

*I will create a spreadsheet where we can share blend ideas. If you prefer to not use a spreadsheet, we can communication by email. No Facebook messages as these tend to be easily missed! 💜

*All blends belong to Lavender and Speckles Scents and will be used at our discretion in future preorders 💜
